Candidates seeking admission to the JNU MA course must appear for the CUET-PG entrance exam, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The students are admitted on merit based on their performance in the entrance test and the deprivation points are added to their score in accordance with the approved admission Policy and Procedures of the University. JNU accepts CUET-UG entrance test scores for admission to the BA (Hons) courses. Central University Entrance Test (CUET) is an all-India level entrance exam conducted by NTA for admission in UG courses offered in all the participating institutions. Candidates seeking admission to the JNU BA (Hons) course must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 45%. 

Yes, Jawaharlal Nehru University accepts Common Admission Test (CAT), conducted by IIMs for admission to the MBA courses. Based on the CAT scores, shortlisted candidates are then required to appear for a Personal Interview round. The final merit list of selected candidates is based on CAT scores and the marks obtained in the interview round with a weightage of 70% and 30%, respectively.
