To secure admission in Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), particularly for MBA or any other postgraduate programme through the CUET PG (Central Universities Common Entrance Test for Postgraduate programs), prospective students must first ensure they meet the eligibility criteria set by JNU. This typically involves having a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a specified minimum percentage or CGPA. Next, candidates need to register and appear for the CUET PG examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Upon receiving the CUET PG scores, eligible candidates must apply to JNU separately through their official admission portal, submitting required documents and paying the application fee within the stipulated deadlines. Depending on the program, JNU may conduct further selection processes such as group discussions, personal interviews, or counseling sessions. It is essential for applicants to regularly check JNU's official website for updates regarding admission procedures, cutoffs, and other relevant information throughout the admission process.

Candidates seeking admissions to the BA programme offered at JNU must meet the specified basic eligibility criteria, i.e. Class 12 or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 45% from a recognised board. Hence, as long as the applicants have scored 45% or above in Class 12, they are eligible to apply for the course. However, the selection for admissions in BA at JNU is done on the basis of a valid score obtained by the students in the CUET UG entrance exam. Only those who make it to the cut-off specified by the university in the entrance exam and satisfy all the eligibility requirements will be allotted a seat at JNU. In the event of not clearing the entrance test, interested students can opt for Online BA courses offered by various other colleges to pursue instead.
