As per the insights, JIIT is said to be better but in my opinion NIT is NIT be it in Mizoram or Delhi. Moreover, some factors do play a role but if u have enough talent u can succeed well. Afterlife is more important.

Engineering at Chandigarh University is setting a benchmark every year that is on a subtle higher inclination. Practical teaching and learning methodology, Research oriented studies, placements from Top Notch Multinational companies and excellence centers of globally reputed firms makes Chandigarh University a stand out choice among the ones who want to give their career a free flowing and a satisfying start. It is the only university to have lodged more than 200 partnerships with foreign universities which are well reputed and are within top QS rankings. The highest package offered to the students last year at Chandigarh University was 31.7 lac. More than 450 companies including global IT giant such as Google, Microsoft, Deloitte etc. , and other renowned firms such as Amazon, Wipro, Haier, HP etc. Are frequent recruiters here. Talking specifically about CSE placements, the highest package offered here was 31.77 lacs in the recent placement session which was offered by Amazon and the average package offered to the students was 4.5 lacs. Chandigarh University is the most trusted and sought after education institutes in the region and without any doubt has the highest return on investment which is a defining factor when you decide to invest 4 years of your life in Engineering. Next, let's come to the topic of JIIT, Noida:
JIIT has two campuses in Noida i.e. Sec-62 and Sec-128, wherein Sec-62 is considered better in terms of faculty, placements and overall stats.
So, is JIIT worthy of 12 lacs?
If you are planning for a private college, then I will recommend that JIIT is good for you. Spending same or more amount and taking admission in colleges like Amity, Sharda, etc., is no use.
JIIT offers a good campus (a bit small), decent infrastructure, decent faculty, good hostel facilities, a very nicely structured curriculum and yes, secured placement.
If you have fancy dreams about your college, then JIIT is not for you.
JIIT has a good name in Delhi/NCR. According to me, it's a good choice for those who have secured around 50K-60K rank in JEE Mains and are looking for a private college.
Spending 12 Lacs is heavy, but you'll be at a good place.

The pros are that in the 4 years of your tenure you won't feel bored in this college and the cons is that there are zero placements for some branches.
