Placements for B.Tech students at Kannur University are mostly determined by the engineering colleges that are connected with it, including Government Engineering College in Kozhikode and other private establishments. The university offers a strong academic foundation, however, when compared to prestigious engineering schools, the placement possibilities may be mediocre.Regional businesses and startups frequently visit these universities and several major corporations hire for positions in mechanical, civil, and information technology engineering. While bigger packages are uncommon but possible for exceptional performance average wage packages fall between 3-5 LPA. To improve their chances of getting placed students might need to actively look for internships and off-campus options. To succeed professionally networking and skill improvement are essential.

Through its associated colleges Kannur University provides a range of undergraduate and graduate degrees including a B.Tech. Although the university offers high-quality instruction, its B.Tech programs might not be as well known as those of some other engineering schools. In partnership with affiliated engineering institutes like Government Engineering College Kozhikode Kannur University offers B.Tech courses. The faculty has experience and the programme complies with industry requirements. The industrial contacts and placement chances, however, might not be as robust as those at prestigious engineering schools. All things considered, Kannur University is a good option for anyone looking for a strong engineering education in Kerala at a lower cost with respectable employment opportunities.
