Satisfied with the campus.
Placements: Excellent. We have a placement cell, and as we were in our final year, we got a lot of placement interviews, both from core companies and from others. I've done placement interviews in the first few weeks, and we have 2 more coming next week. Internship opportunities are provided by the college, which provides us with both online and offline internships at that time. It is provided according to the college.
Infrastructure: It is very good after you get used to it. At the beginning, it was very difficult in the first year. But then, with good friends and hostel staff, you will find the hostel life so nice and homelike. You won't miss your parents while staying here. There is a very good climate and scenery throughout the campus. Wi-Fi is available for students as well as faculty members, and in hostels, Wi-Fi is also available.
Faculty: We have 3 internal assessment exams and an end-of-semester exam. The internal exams are in 40, and the end semester is in 100. Mainly, the topics discussed in class are only asked. The correction is done here as the institute is autonomous. Faculty members are very good and supportive. One of the main reasons why everyone survives here are the faculty members and the staff. The support and care they provide are not describable with words. I hope all the faculty members are like my deep faculty members.
Other: We have a national sports event called KEMT, and we also have excellent labs with modern facilities. They update the equipment and machinery often. We also have well-trained lab technicians and helpers to help us throughout the lab sessions.

It is a good college but a bit strict.
Placements: Placements provided in our college are good. The recruiting companies are Parle-G, ITC, TCS, Nestle, and other top companies with good salary packages. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA to 12 LPA. The companies visit our college to recruit boys for internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the best and most admirable. It is surrounded by mountains and the best climate. Hostel is neat and clean with trees and is safe and clean. Library is neat and available all the time.
Faculty: Our college conducts 3 internal exams at the end of the month. There are around 5 subjects in every group, and semester exams are completed soon compared to other colleges. Students can select the course and faculty members, and the process will be completed before the fee payment.

The best place to grow and learn. The best part is there are no limitations for your growth here!
Placements: Almost all the students get good placements and there are companies who come to check and recruit students when they go for internships. There are many roles like food inspector, working in your own food related company and many other roles. There are scholarships offered in here.
Infrastructure: All the facilities and infrastructure are good in here with good Wi-Fi and labs that are very helpful to learn. The classrooms are huge and the library has both digital and non-digital versions. The quality of food in the mess is good and we get plenty of variety here.
Faculty: All the teachers here are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good here and the course curriculum is relevant. It does make the students industry ready. The semester exams are a bit hard.
Other: Since there were more placements for food engineering, I chose this course and the best thing about it is that you learn a lot about many things. There are many events that take place and there are scholarships too. There are extracurricular activities too so that students can earn as much as possible.

Good course with high job prospects, but poor placement statistics in the university.
Placements: Only 1.6% of students got placed in my course and batch (I. e., 2 out of 120 students). Only one company came for placement for our batch and that was VKL Seasoning Pvt. Ltd. The salary package offered was about 4.5 LPA. The role offered was that of a Quality Assurance Engineering Trainee. The university did not assist in finding internships for any students, but most of the students obtained an internship and a job after the course by themselves.
Infrastructure: The main facilities available for our course at our university were state-of-the-art laboratories, with different labs for different aspects of our course. No Wi-Fi was provided anywhere except in the computer labs. The classrooms were fine and the library was well-stocked. The rooms and washrooms in our hostel were fine. The quality of the food in the mess was good, there were different areas such as North Indian, South Indian, Kerala, Andhra, and NRI mess. Many varieties of food are available in the hotels surrounding the hostels such as burgers, pizzas, dosa, sandwiches, Pani puri, and anything you can think of. The canteen in the university was also fine and had various dishes. There is a ground in our hostel for playing sports or games, though not much incentive to play was given nor were there many competitions. There is also a hospital outside our hostel, which can take care of basic injuries and sicknesses of students.
Faculty: The teachers were all qualified and knowledgeable, and most are very helpful. The teaching quality was overall fine, some know how to teach remarkably well, and some don't. The course curriculum was very relevant for our field and makes us industry-ready if the student puts in the effort to make full use of it as the curriculum covers every area and aspect of our field in detail. The pass percentage for the semester exams is 50%, and they are not tough to pass if one prepares and studies well.
Other: I chose this course as it was rare compared to the other mainstream engineering fields, and also because this was one of the only food processing engineering courses in the country that didn't require the student to have taken Maths as a subject in 11th and 12th (although the course does include Maths till the 3rd year). The biggest negative of our university would be that there are very few events that take place, and fests are non-existent.

It is a very good campus with a good atmosphere.
Placements: The placement cell is active in our college, and also a lot of students get placed from our college every year. However, compared to other conventional courses, the placements for the specific food processing course are less. The university provides us with many career-oriented programs.
Infrastructure: The campus is huge. Every department has its own dedicated building and labs. The library has its own single building of four floors and is fully air-conditioned. Both college and hostel campuses are Wi-Fi enabled for every student.
Faculty: Every teacher is very well qualified. They are very good at teaching and also help us in every situation. The semester exams are conducted by the college as its a deemed university. The difficulty level is medium and could be cracked easily if we pay proper attention to classes.
