You must have 45% in class 12th and must have PCM as main subjects with chemistry, computer, biology, biotechnology, and electronics as optional subjects with English as a mandatory language subject. For sc/st candidates 40% marks are the eligibility criteria.

For M.Tech in Strutural Engineering, these are the few criteria one must meet to be qualified for this course.1. One seeking admission to the first semester of the Master of Technology program must have passed the B.E. examination at KBN Engineering College or another accredited university or institute. One must have obtained at least 50% of the marks in the aggregate for all years of their degree examination.2. Candidates who finished their degree exams through distance modes of education from any university are ineligible for the M.Tech course.One must be GATE qualified or have taken entrance exams conducted by a government-recognized authority (PGCET) or KBNU.3. Candidates who have qualified in the GATE examination in the relevant discipline of engineering are excluded from the entrance examination and given precedence.If a sufficient number of GATE candidates are not available, the seat will be filled by candidates who qualified for the entrance examination.
