KIIT is a renowned college in the whole of Eastern India. Its ranking has been also very good. But I would say that it's the student that actually makes a college. I took Civil engineering in KIIT (in the counselling) but didn't take the admission due to some personal reasons.
Cons of KIIT for me is the number of students intake in each branch (which is almost above 450 and 650+ in CSE and IT). To get placed within those 650 students will take a lot of hard work. A 15-20K job is not what you wish after spending 8.8 lakhs of tuition fees. It is not feasible at all. But if you work hard it's obvious that success will be waiting in any path that you follow. Other than these 2 cons I found that KIIT is very good as you will enjoy your college life a lot. I have pretty much more than 15 friends admitted to it and they enjoy it a lot.

You want to pursue BBA which is a Bachelors course and its basic requirements is only the clearance of 12th standard in commerce or science and about arts I don't know that are they applicable for Bachelor in Business courses. So, there are basically no restrictions on age factor to pursue any course in this world as I think and I have seen many students above 50+ %age pursuing many different courses.
And for this particular university, i.e. K.L. University may be the same as they are also in search of students and yes difference may lie if they are looking for scholar (good) students then there might be different procedure like written exam then interview and then selection based on merit list.
So, you have to look on their site for further detailed information and work accordingly.
