{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}Success Rate of Placement Cell for B.E./B.Tech StudentsBased on the feedback from students and alumni, the placement cell of Lingayas Vidyapeeth appears to have a moderate success rate in securing jobs for B.E./B.Tech students. Here are some key findings:* Good performance: According to several students, the college provides companies for placements, and every year, companies visit the college to select good students. For instance, Infosys and L&T visited the college last year to recruit mechanical engineering students.* Placement frequency: While some students mentioned that the college conducts placements every year, others noted that the number of placement drives may vary (e.g., "only 4-5 placement drives" per year).* Qualification requirements: Most students agreed that minimum 75% academic marks are necessary for eligibility to participate in placements.Overall, the placement cell seems to be performing reasonably well, although some students expressed concerns about the limited number of placement opportunities. To improve its performance, the college could consider increasing the number of recruitment drives and enhancing its relationships with potential employers.

Originally called Lingaya's Institute of Management and Technology, it was connected to Maharishi Dayanand University when it was founded in 1998. 2009 saw the institute renamed Lingaya's University (now Lingaya's Vidyapeeth) and become a deemed-to-be university under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 [1]. Ninety percent of students are enrolled on campus, and last year's top compensation package was twelve LPA, given to an exceptional CSE student. The distribution of pay increases to three and five LPA for each course branch. Eighty-five percent of the students enrolled in various courses have been successfully placed by the placement cell. For B.Tech and M.Tech students, the average annual salary package has increased to 3.5 lacs.
