Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture & Technology (MPUAT) is a state-level university, located in Udaipur. It is the second-largest agricultural university set-up in Rajasthan in 1999, to encourage research-based education majorly in the field of Agricultural Sciences and Technology. MPUAT admission is conducted in online mode. Admission to some of the programmes is entrance based. Admission to remaining UG and PG courses is based on candidate's merit in previous qualifying degree/ exam. Seats are reserved for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates and ICAR nominees in BSc (Agriculture) and MSc (Agriculture) programmes as per the Government of Rajasthan policies. MPUAT UG Admission 2021
MPUAT offers three UG programmes including BTech, BSc and BFSc in various specialisations, majorly in the fields of Engineering and Agricultural & Fishery Sciences. For admission to UG courses, selection of eligible candidates is made by the University based on national/ state-level entrance test followed by an interview round. MPUAT offers a four-year BTech programme in eight specialisations. The programme is spread across eight semesters. At PG level, MPUAT offers three more programmes of two-year duration. Admission to MSc and MBA programmes is based on performance of candidates in pre-PG entrance test conducted by the University, followed by a GD and PI round. However, candidates willing to seek admission to MFSc programme are evaluated based on aggregate obtained in previous qualifying degree/ exam, followed by a PI round.

MPUAT PhD Admission 2021
MPUAT offers a PhD programme in 11 areas of research specialisations. Candidates willing to seek admission to any of its PhD specialisations need to have a high aggregate score in master’s degree as the admission is entirely merit-based. However, candidates with a valid UGC NET/ JRF/ SET are also preferred during admission.
Eligibility criteria: Passed a master's degree in relevant field from a recognised institute/ university with a minimum of 55 per cent or 7.0 CGPA out of 10.

MPUAT Application Process 2021
Application form for admission to MPUAT programmes is available online on its official website. Candidates need to apply for any of its courses by first filling the form online and then submitting a hard copy of duly filled application along with required documents to the University’s admission office. However, candidates also have an option of buying application form and prospectus by visiting in-person to the University campus.

- Visit the official website of MPUAT (www.mpuat.ac.in). On its homepage, click on ‘Academics’
- Further, click on the course link for which you wish to seek admission and then click on ‘Online Admission Portal’
- Click on ‘Candidate Registration’ and register yourself by addressing details, including your name, date of birth, gender, address of communication, email ID and mobile number
- A verification link will be sent to your registered email ID. Click on the link to verify your account and proceed with further steps
- Click on ‘Candidate Login’ to login to your account with a user ID and password sent to your registered email ID
- An application form along with step-by-step clickables will open up. Fill each section of the application form carefully. Hit ‘Submit button once done
- After submitting the online application, take a print out of the same and submit it along with hard copies of mandatory documents and a DD of Rs 500 as an application fee to the below-mentioned address within seven days of online application submission:
