The Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU) Aurangabad was established in 2017 and is still rapidly establishing its standing in the legal education field. However, MNLU Aurangabad is not as of now listed among the top National Law Universities in India. Owing to NIRF 2024 rankings, other campuses such as MNLU Mumbai and Nagpur have better rankings while MNLU Aurangabad is still growing.MNLU Aurangabad is a good law school, however, taking into account its relatively young establishment and developing infrastructure, it may not be the most suitable option for a law school in Aurangabad.

Students goal is to join a company or firm; many companies, including Bajaj, jindal steel, have come to campus for placements as well as internship calls. The placements are fairly good, with 4LPA to 6LPA packages being provided, and the majority of students choose litigation.
