MM (Deemed to be University) is a deemed university duly recognized by Govt of India. MMDU has been awarded as the Best University of the Year North in 2017. Admission is through university level counselling based on marks obtained in graduation. Basic eligibility for this course is that candidate must be a graduate and he/she must have completed B.Sc. NEET exam is not compulsory for securing admission in B.Sc. in Biotechnology from Maharishi Markandeshwar, Mullana. The university conducts its own separate exam for admission to this course. The course is taught in English, so students will need to be proficient in reading, writing and speaking English.
For students who have passed their qualifying exam in a medium other than English, valid TOEFL/ IELTS score is mandatory. In absence of TOEFL/ IELTS score, students will be required to do a bridge course in English.
Admission is based on the rank obtained in JEE Mains.
For vacant seats and overseas students, the merit is prepared on the basis of marks in the qualifying exam.
Final Selection will be made on the basis of the personal interview to judge the suitability of the candidate for the program.
