{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}Is B.E./B.Tech at Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya Vishwavidyalaya (MGCGV) Worth the Investment? Based on student reviews and feedback, here's a summary of the pros and cons:Infrastructure and Facilities* Average infrastructure, with old laboratories and classrooms* Limited availability of hostels, particularly for boys* Good connectivity to public transportation* Wi-Fi facilities available, although slow and unreliable* Central library lacks resources and accessibilityTeaching and Learning Environment* Qualified teachers, although some may lack experience and enthusiasm* Limited faculty members, leading to uneven distribution of workload* Old-fashioned teaching methods, without adequate use of technology* No provision for project-based learning or hands-on experience* Limited opportunities for industrial visits and internshipsPlacement and Career Opportunities* No fixed schedule for placements, with companies visiting occasionally* Limited job opportunities, with few placements in recent years* HOD appears uninterested in arranging internships and career guidance* Students often rely on personal connections to secure internships or jobsOverall Feedback* Students praise the beauty of the campus and its natural surroundings* Few students feel that the college prepares them adequately for industries* Some students appreciate the support of certain teachers and staff members* Others express frustration with administrative issues, lack of transparency, and poor communicationConsidering these factors, it seems that MGCGV may not offer optimal returns on investment for aspiring engineers. While the college's infrastructure and location have their advantages, the limitations in teaching, placement, and overall learning environment might lead to dissatisfaction among students. Potential students should carefully weigh these factors before making a decision.
