Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences and Technology (MGUMST) allows direct admission into the MBBS program if the required eligibility criteria are satisfied. Admission is through the NEET UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) merit list only. MGUMST, like most medical colleges in India follows a merit based policy governed by NEET rankings and only students who perform better than the cut off are eligible for the counselling and allocation of seats. No management quota or direct admission for the course of MBBS is offered. Other criteria must also be satisfied, such as having completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
