The seat intake for a two-year MBA course is 77 and 30 for three-year Executive MBA course. At the time of admission, seat allotment is carried out as per the seat capacity for each course. MNNIT is one of the institute of national importance. It is far better than any private institute to get admission. You get much better campus life than any other institute. Candidates must appear for JEE Mains qualified with at leat 96%ile to secure a seat. You must be 10+12 passed with 75% aggregate marks in physics, chemistry, and mathematics.Application is accepted through josa counselling every year and seats are allocated as per the merit of candidates.There will total 6 rounds of seat allotment and 2 special rounds for vacant seat.

Seats are reserved in each branch for different categories. Around 15% of total seats i.e 125 seats are reserved for DASA candidates.14% seats are reserved for female candidates. 50% seats are reserved for state quota in every NIT. 27% for OBC ,10% for Ews, 15% for SC, 7.5% ST, and 5% for PWD candidates are reserved.

The score requirement is different for different MNNIT Allahabad courses. Candidates need to qualify a minimum of Class 12 for UG and graduation for PG programmes. Candidates need to pass a minimum of Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject from a recognised board with at least 75% aggregate is required to apply for the MNNIT Allahabad BTech programme. Besides, MNNIT Allahabad accepts admission to BTech based on a valid score of JEE Main, followed by a centralised counselling body, i.e.,  JoSAA Counselling. The seat allotment process is based on the college cutoff and the candidate's preference for courses and colleges. For the selection of candidates for vacant seats, the college also accepts admission through CSAB Counselling.
