Candidate must have passed diploma in civil engineering from a recognized University with 40% marks for SC/ST; 45% for SEBC and 50% for open at the final year and must have minimum full time recognized industrial or working experience in an organization of repute after passing the Diploma examination in the field in which admission is sought, of which at least last one year full time working experience should be in or around Vadodara within 30 km. radius from the Faculty of Technology and Engg. Premises. (Apprentice experience will not be considered). Candidates shall not be considered eligible for admission those who have passed their diploma examination in distance learning mode.

Our college has a good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Almost 20% of the students got placed in our course and our batch. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA, and the lowest was 1.8 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Companies like L&T, Ambuja, Tata, Birla, Geotech, etc., visit the campus. Average 60% of the students got internship in companies like L&T and Tata. Roles offered were like site engineer, survey engineer, road engineer, etc.

Infrastructure: In our department, facilities are too good. Wi-Fi is available 24X7 on the campus and university hostel. The library facility is very good. There is Hansa Mehta library which has a central air-condotioned facility and is open from 8 am to 8 pm for all the students. Labs and classrooms are also well maintained and in good condition. The campus of the hostel is also good as I was in a hostel for four years of our course I can say that there were excellent facilities as per the fees ratio. Also there was a university health centre and pavilion for all sports.

Faculty: All the teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. This course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. Exam ratio is 20 marks internal mid-exam and 80 marks external for the final exam. The total passing percentage is 40%.

Other: I chose civil engineering because I like the passion of it and also the future for this course is good. I think in our course I wish that improvement can be done is personality development for an interview in future. There are many events and concerts held in the college. The scholarship ratio is also very good. If you have a high percentage then you can get a very high amount of scholarship by different schemes.

The college has very good placements and teachers.

Placements: Above 80% of the students got placed in this college because the faculty members are very good, and companies have a belief that MSU has good students. The highest package offered every year is around 20 LPA. Some students got placed in Google, and the packages offered are in Crores.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is above average. Cleanliness is maintained. The hostel is good, and the food is average. Many people like the hostel. The laboratories are very good at a certain level. The instruments civil engineering labs are average.

Faculty: The faculty members are well-educated. They are very helpful and motivate us. I liked their Knowledge about their domains. They are very passionate about teaching us and empower us for a good future.

Review of Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.

Placements: Placements in the college for my batch were sub-par but were good for previous batches. Placements depend on the individual performance of the students in the field of academics and extracurricular activities. IT mass recruitment is the biggest hope for the students. The training and placement cell is very active.

Infrastructure: Very beautiful scenic and sprawling lawns are there in the campus since the palace has been converted into the teaching arena. Classrooms and labs in the college are updated and advance. The canteen is really good, and an outlet of Nescafe is the life of the campus. A library with a broad range of books is also present here.

Faculty: Professors in the college are experienced. Conventional methods of teaching are followed here. Seminars, workshops and conferences are held at regular intervals to provide industry exposure to students. Educational tours are also carried out. The teachers encourage the students to develop their strengths. The curriculum is not very updated but is useful.

Other: There are 4 national level fests organised in the college called Footprints, Prerna, Paramarsh and Junoon.

Good academics+ best college life = MSU.

Placements: In our civil engineering department, about 26-30 students get placed every year. The highest package offered by TCE ( Tata consultancy engineering) is of about 5 LPA. There are other renowned companies like SPCL, Essar, TCS, L&T, Infosys, and some other local companies which recruits students. The only problem here is that students leave the job for higher-studies or some other reasons, so the numbers could be changed.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average. The main building was constructed by Maharaja Sayajirao. So, it is old, but it is historic. Labs are okay like any other government colleges. One can enjoy hanging around the campus. Canteens are the best place for fun especially, the arts canteen. Our university has the best library in Gujarat, may be in India it also has a very good amount of online content for studies and research.

Faculty: Our university is a deemed university, so it has its own syllabus for each department. The syllabus and teaching methods are at mostly as per modern need. We have faculty members from IITs and NITs, and they have many years of experience. Faculty members are very supportive if you have interest in the subject and they give us the best knowledge. Our faculty and university are ranked in top 100 many times by national institute of ranking federation (NIRF) and in Gujarat, it is the best semi-government university.

Other: Our college has the best events in Gujarat. We organise 4 regular events in our college Prerna, Paramarsh, Junoon, and Footprints. We also enjoy the celebration of days and mass bunks also. In our university, students also organise many events like BBA, Bazzigar, Sayaji literature festival, youth festival, concerts, etc., and we have also student elections. If you want to enjoy the college life, it could be the best place. Also if you want the best academic career along with enjoyment, this could be the place for you.

The best faculty with more freedom of study.

Placements: The placements are the best in this college. Almost 60% of students were placed every year in all fields. The minimum package starts from 1.25 lakhs per annum to maximum of 12 lakhs per annum. The companies coming for placements are L&T, Linde, Tata, Adani, SPCL, Cube, Geo, Krunal, Mahindra, etc.

Infrastructure: There is a free wifi service with good internet speed on the campus. The best part of the campus is its library. The labs are clean and good with all facilities. The classrooms are big, good enough, and smart. The canteen is very good with quality food. Medical facilities are also available there for students.

Faculty: The teaching staff of the college is the best. The teachers are very qualified, with the best teaching method. Their unique teaching method separates them from other colleges teaching staff. The ratio of students per teacher is almost 40 students per teacher. They are very knowledgeable in their subjects.
