When comparing just the tuition costs, NLSIU is noticeably more expensive than TNDALU. The cheaper hostel costs at TNDALU, however, somewhat make up for the disparity. Living costs are much more in Bangalore than they are in Chennai. Considering all of these variables, NLSIU's overall tuition for undergraduate programmes is probably more expensive than TNDALU's, however specific scholarship circumstances may differ. For postgraduate programmes, the difference in tuition fees between NLSIU and TNDALU is less, while the costs for housing are the same. Living costs are considerably greater in Bangalore than they are in Chennai, though. As a result, although the difference is somewhat smaller than for UG programmes, the overall cost of attending NLSIU for PG programmes is probably going to be somewhat more than TNDALU.

Compared to TNDALU, NLSIU has a far greater reputation both domestically and abroad. While TNDALU is not included in the majority of top law school rankings, it often ranks in the top three law schools in India. Graduates at NLSIU have access to more prestigious and well-paying job possibilities since the university draws a greater selection of elite legal firms and companies for campus placements. Opportunities in corporate law, litigation, and foreign law firms fall under this category. While TNDALU promises respectable placements with a number of reputable law firms, the recruiters' overall prestige and range may be lesser than that of NLSIU.Compared to TNDALU's Law programme, NLSIU has a better established and longer history. More established ties with employers and a more robust alumni network are the results of this. When compared to TNDALU's Law programme, NLSIU's tuition is substantially more. Thus, for certain students, TNDALU is a more cost-effective choice. NLSIU is regarded as superior to TNDALU after all is said and done.
