Review of NIT Rourkela - National Institute of Technology.
Placements: In our college, almost all students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 1 CPA to 2 CPA. Top recruiting companies like Texas Instruments, Oracle, BHEL, Microsoft, etc., visit our campus. Almost 80% of students get internships in their third year.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is a little bit slow. The quality of food in the mess is good. There is a separate mess for pure vegetarians. Medical facilities are available. Sports culture is excellent.
Faculty: Our college teachers are average. They are well qualified. Some teachers are marvelous, but some of them are boring. It depends entirely on you how much you pay attention in classrooms. Semester exams have repetitive questions. Some courses are irreverent, but others are industry-ready.
Other: I found a great scope in this course because electronics is an evergreen branch. Our college conducts many events and fests. There is a full-fee waiver program for scholarships.

Placements: In the previous year, almost 95% of students got placed in various companies. About 350 companies visited our college for placements and offered 1,274 offers, and 128 students received a salary package of more than 20 LPA. Around 20 students received a salary package of 46 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college has a wide radius of campus. It is spread over 647 acres of land. It takes every measure to provide education and accommodation. They look after students' requirements. Our college has a better library to study in. It has well-developed hostels, sports facilities, a canteen, health services, etc.
Faculty: All professors are highly qualified. They are Ph.D. holders. They help us a lot with any doubts practically and effectively. They can help us by using real-time examples that help to get the subject. Theory and practicals provide a better understanding of each subject.

It is an excellent college, with good placements and campus life.
Placements: Around 75% of students got placed in our course from our college. The packages go from 10 LPA to 50 LPA. We are recruited by some of the best companies across the world like Microsoft, Flipkart, Disney+ Hotstar etc. Around 60% of students get internships in 3rd year, competing with IITs.
Infrastructure: Our classrooms have projectors. The classrooms are huge with AC and have a good environment to study. Our college has a library named Bijupatnayak library which contains more than 10,000 volume books and also reading room beside the library. The quality of the hostel is good. The food is good, and non-veg is provided five times a week. The college has a badminton court and gym which are superb. Cricket, basketball and all types of sports grounds are available.
Faculty: The faculty members are experienced, and most of them do research and are well-experienced in teaching. The curriculum is good and helps students to crack the GATE exam easily. The pass percentage is approximately 60%. Semester exams are not much difficult. But we have to follow the classes daily, which is sufficient enough to get a good CGPA.
Other: I am interested in electronics, and I want to explore the electronics field, so I chose this course. Every year, we have events like technical events, sports events, literacy and film culture and also a celebrity night.

I want you to get admission to our college.
Placements: Placement offers are much better here. A lot of companies visit here for the recruitment of all students who are interested in it. Many students got internships also in their third year. Internship offers are also much better than in other colleges.
Infrastructure: As we know, this college is huge. This college is approximately spread over 1,200 acres of land, and it is well decorated. It's also good in sports facilities. It's fine in respect of the garden and the beauty of nature.
Faculty: As far as I know that the faculty members of National Institute of Technology Rourkela are much better than other colleges of India, but in online classes, it's really difficult to understand some things such as we can't attend lab sessions in online classes.
Other: Our college always organises an awesome fest.

Our college is still providing online teaching. So, it is not good.
Placements: An average number of students got placed in placements from here. The highest salary package offered is 33 LPA. An average number of students get internships from here. Due to online teaching and exams, placements and internships are not good. Final year students give advice to juniors about how to get a good job.
Infrastructure: There is a nice infrastructure with a good LAN connection. There is a good library and study room. There are well-furnished classrooms with digital systems. The classrooms consist of a projector and computer system. The maintenance is also good. Our college maintains the garden also.
Faculty: There are good teachers, but due to Covid-19, the teaching is provided online. There are very effective courses. There are good teachers, but due to online teaching, it is not very much effective. Laboratory classes are also conducted online by using various software, which is not much effective.
Other: I love electronics gadgets, so I chose EIE. Due to Covid-19, fests are also conducted online, so it is not much effective.
