Hi,
Nothing much can be done now. As of now, you have to make peace with the NLU allotted to you.
All the best.

Hello,
Given the NET examination, if you have completed your graduation in law then you could surely go for law as a subject in NET examination. Otherwise, you could choose a subject you completed your graduation.
All the best.

Hello, considering your AIR in SC category, chances are less. However, you should wait till final list comes up. Given the category reservation in NLUs. They are state universities and have varying reserved seats.
All the best.

Depends on the AIR you have got in CLAT examination. I would be able to help you better, if you share your AIR as well.
Thank you.
Thank you.

If you are very clear about practice in taxation law, there are four options:

2. Do CA/CS alongside B.A. LL.B/B.Com. LL.B. /BBA. LL.B. Depending on institute choice. (5 year plan, Most ideal, but highly rigorous, since two professional courses parallely)
3. Do just CA if not targeting practise with law firms, more suited for individual practise.
4. Do just B.A. LL.B. /B.Com. LL.B. /BBA. LL.B. , if targeting tax practise with law firms. (while CS is recommended)
LL.B. In any form allows practise as advocate, though one can either be practising CA or CS or Advocate (that is choice one has to make), but degrees matter and help gain client trust and generate reliability.

Once graduated with a 5-year integrated law degree, the scope is quite large. Apart from writing PCS(J) and being an advocate, you can get into the corporate sector by getting placed with a top notched law firm like Amarchand Mangaldas, Trilegal, Khaitan & Co. to name a few. This trend is indeed taking over. Also, you can apply abroad for post-graduation if you secure a scholarship. Average packages in top-ranked national law schools are around Rs 9-12 lakh per annum while those of some IITs are around Rs 7-8 lakh per annum. Not only academics but extracurricular activities are done in a law school like moot give a lot of exposure. If you've got a good hold on your law subjects, then the sky is the limit for you but at the end of the day, it's your individual performance which will decide a major chunk of your career prospects.
