Yes, completing your LL. M. through the Common Law Admission Test CLAT at a National Law University (NLU) can increase your chances of getting placed in a reputed law firm or legal organisation. NLUs are known for their rigorous academic programs, experienced faculty, and excellent placement opportunities. Most NLUs have dedicated placement cells that facilitate campus placement drives for their students. The placement cells work with various law firms, corporate houses, and legal organizations to identify job opportunities for their students. They also organize career counseling sessions, workshops, and seminars to help students prepare for job interviews and enhance their employability skills. However, it's important to note that placement opportunities may vary depending on various factors such as your academic performance, the reputation of the institution you choose, your specialisation, and the demand for your skills in the job market. It's advisable to research the placement record of the institution you are interested in and network with alumni and industry professionals to get a better understanding of the placement opportunities available to you.

The NLU Consortium conducts three rounds of counselling for admission to its participating National Law Universities (NLUs) through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). The counselling process typically starts after the announcement of CLAT results and involves online registration, choice filling, document verification, and seat allotment. The first round of counselling involves the allocation of seats based on the CLAT merit-cum-preference, followed by the second round, which offers candidates the option to upgrade or shift to higher preferences of NLUs. The third round of counselling is the final round, where the remaining seats are allotted to candidates based on their CLAT score and availability of seats. In addition to the three rounds of counselling, the NLU Consortium may also conduct a spot counselling round to fill any vacant seats in the NLUs. The spot counselling round is typically held after the completion of the third round of counselling and allows candidates who have not been allotted any seat in the previous rounds to participate in the allocation of vacant seats.

There is a possibility of getting admission into some of the NLUs with ACLAT AIR of 7500 under the NRI sponsored category. However, the admission process and the cutoffs may vary from institution to institution and from year to year. It also depends on the number of seats available in the NRI sponsored category in each institution, and the number of candidates applying under that category. It is advisable to check the admission criteria and eligibility requirements for the NRI sponsored category in the participating NLUs and evaluate your chances accordingly. It is also important to note that other factors such as academic performance, extracurricular activities, and performance in the interview (if any) may also be considered in the admission process.

The cut-off ranks for admission to National Law Universities (NLUs) vary each year depending on various factors such as the number of candidates appearing for the exam, the difficulty level of the exam, and the availability of seats in each NLU. Therefore, it's difficult to predict if you will get admission to any NLU based solely on your All India Rank (AIR) in a particular category. However, with an AIR of 4858 in one category, you have a good chance of securing admission to some of the NLUs, particularly the newer ones. It's recommended that you check the cut-off ranks of the NLUs you're interested in to SEE if you meet their eligibility criteria for admission. Additionally, you should also prepare well for the counseling process and the subsequent rounds of seat allocation to maximize your chances of securing admission to an NLU. It's also recommended that you keep other law colleges and universities as backup options in case you don't get admission to an NLU.

Your AIR rank of 29417 and All India SC rank of 1600 are quite good and you have a decent chance of getting admission in some of the National Law Universities (NLUs) in India. However, your Madhya Pradesh rank of 99 may not be sufficient for admission in NLUs that have a domicile reservation for Madhya Pradesh. Since the cutoffs for admission to different NLUs vary every year based on various factors like the number of seats available, the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, etc. , it is difficult to predict your chances of getting admission in a particular NLU. However, you can use the previous year's cutoffs and your ranks to get an idea of the NLUs where you may have a chance of getting admission. You can check the previous year's cutoffs of different NLUs on their respective websites or admission portals. Additionally, you can also check the cutoff trends and ranks of candidates who got admitted in previous years for the NLUs you are interested in. It is recommended that you keep an eye on the admission notifications and cutoffs released by the NLUs and keep all the required documents ready for the admission process. Good luck!

No, NLU Delhi accepts admission in UG and PG law degree courses only through AILET exam. CLAT scores are used for admissions to the 23 National Law Universities in India except NLU Delhi, as it is the only university that is not a part of Consortium of National Law Universities. Although before formation of Consortium of NLUs, the university (NLUD) actively participated in conduct of CLAT examination and counselling process, however, when the preference was given to other NLUs over it, then in 2012 it was decided that NLUD will not accept CLAT scores for admissions. Hence, AILET was conducted exclusively for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by NLU Delhi.
