Look, this is going to hurt but I do not have any better way of telling this to you. For 2022, the latest general rank that was admitted had an AIR of 1782 , although reports of the subsequent SC category admission is not there, but my sources and research even let me to find out that the last SC that was admitted to NLU Assam, had n AIR of 8967. So according to my analysis, if you could have scored any rank under 10k, then you still had a chance to study there. So, if you are determinant on studying at NLU, I am afraid you have to wait for a second attempt. But otherwise, there are also other colleges for you to study law or BA-LLB. As 20000 rank is too high to get any NLU but if you are having any Quota +state domicile You can get a seat in home state Suppose you are a candidate of Uttar Pradesh and belongs to SC category then u can get the admission in RMLNLU, Lucknow but not possible to get admission in different state with same rank. So basically it is probably nil chances to get any NLU.

CLAT is a national-level entrance exam. It is conducted by a consortium of NLUs for admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by 22 participating NLUs. Hard to say but in this rank you will not get any NLU. As 22 NLUs participating in CLAT exam offers 3000+ seat for which general category candidate must bring rank under 1000 for smooth admission in any NLU. Thank you.

Basically its hard to get admission in this rank Under OBC category Basically you can get admission on luck only for example - A OBC candidate from Uttar Pradesh have state domicile quota in NLU, Lucknow where he priorities over other state obc student, NLU Lucknow have will fill only OBC candidate from Uttar Pradesh only so whatever rank goes here u have only chance for admission and second option is vacant seat Option where any nlu introduce there vacant seat you can registered for that seat.

According to your rank, you may able to get NLU Sonipat, from past year's data Student AIR 4000+ Under OBC rank got the NLU Sonipat in 4th Merit list. You must participate in counselling session as NLU Sonipat, HPNLU are possible NLU where you can get the admission. You should participate in a counselling session and wait upto last merit list for All NLU. Else you may can wait for vacant seat in NLU.
