For admission to one-year LLM or five-year LLB at WBNUJS Kolkata, the CLAT test will be conducted on Dec 3, 2023. Aspirants of WBNUJS Kolkata are required to appear for the exam in offline pen-paper mode at the allotted test centres. Candidates can complete the CLAT registration 2024 until Nov 3, 2023 in online mode. The exam will take place in more than 125 cities listed as CLAT 2024 test centres in 22 states and UTs. The detailed schedule of CLAT 2024 will be declared soon along with the CLAT Exam Centers 2024.The CLAT question paper for undergraduate courses has total 120 passage-based objective-type questions from five subjects - English Language, Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Current Affairs including General Knowledge and Current2 Techniques. The Current2 LLM question paper has both objective- and subjective-type questions. However, last year, the CLAT Consortium removed the descriptive section from the LLM paper. The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is for getting admission in 5 years integrated law courses. CLAT is a national level entrance exam for admissions to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes offered by 22 National Law Universities around the country. CLAT is organized by the Consortium of National Law Universities consisting of the representative universities. Registrations for the examination closed on 30th April. The exam will be conducted on 13th June. So please apply immediately. The eligibility criteria of CLAT UG for 5 years integrated law courses is given below. Eligibility : 10+2 with minimum 45% of aggregate marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to General / OBC / PWD / NRI / PIO / OCI categories. 40% marks or equivalent in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories. Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in March/April, are also eligible to appear in CLAT. Age criteria : There will be no upper age limit for UG Programme in CLAT .
