Let me tell you that National Law University should be your first choice. Let me tell you why.
1. The most important factor is the u2018Nationalu2019 tag attached to it. NLU is a brand in itself. So, the degree you get from here will be given more preference than a degree from a private institution.
2. Career and job recruitment will automatically be boosted, though grades are a deciding factor.
3. Quality education in a NLU comes at a modest fee. Unlike the expensive private colleges.
4. NLU may not have A class infrastructure like the private ones but necessary facilities such as good libraries will be guaranteed. The Common Law Admission Test is taken by 60,000 students every year out of which only 2000 make it through. The prestige attached to it is immense. So, if you have the option of a NLU, definitely go for it. Thank you.

The candidate must have passed the Intermediate/Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2) or an equivalent examination from university/recognized board, securing in the aggregate not less than 50% of the total marks (for SC/ST category candidates - 45% of the total marks).
Have been selected on the basis of Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).
No candidate shall be admitted to the LLM degree course unless he has secured in the aggregate not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in all papers in the qualifying LLB (Hons.) (five years integrated programme) or LLB (3-years programme) of a recognized university or the candidate must have been selected on the basis of Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).
