North Bengal University (NBU) offers 3 years LL.B. Course in its affiliated government law colleges. To get admission in the government colleges under NBU for the LL.B. Course, you need to appear for the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the university. The eligibility criteria for the CET for LL.B. Course in NBU are as follows:
1. The candidate must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates).
2. The age of the candidate should not be more than 30 years as on 1st July of the year of admission (relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates). The CET consists of 100 multiple-choice questions and the duration of the exam is 2 hours. The questions in the exam will be based on General Knowledge, Current Affairs Legal Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and English Language. After the CET, the university releases a merit list based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the exam. The candidates are then called for counseling and seat allotment process based on their rank in the merit list. Good luck.
