In an AICTE approved Institute, any changes to student intake, addition of courses, closure of course, change in affiliation, change in the name of the course or institution must be approved by AICTE. But it is not so in case the institution is UGC approved. Earlier the courses administered at Lovely Institute were run under PTU in 2002 and were approved by AICTE.
