Our college is a good college.
Placements: In our college, placements are not good. Top recruiting companies like Apicol, JK Papers, Ply Wood Companies, and Bamboo Corporation India come for placements. Students are generally more interested in civil services as the college has some reservations for jobs in OFS and assistant soil conservator officer.
Infrastructure: In our college, classrooms are well furnished. All UG classrooms are equipped with projectors. There is no Wi-Fi and the library is nearly 200 m away from the college. The hostel food is good and affordable. There is a sports complex near the college which has a badminton court, a gym, a basketball court, a volleyball court, and a cricket ground with galleries.
Faculty: Our professors and faculty members are the best in their field. The teaching quality is excellent. The curriculum is highly relevant to the field. Students are made industry-ready as there are regular practicals and tours. Semester exams are tough as the curriculum is a little bit vast.
Other: The best thing about our course is the exposure. The campus life is good, fests are regularly celebrated and facilities for scholarships are available. Things that need to be improved include increasing faculty members, a new dean, an auditorium, and Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms.

Love nature; choose forestry.
Placements: There is so much opportunity in the government sector, like ACF, forest ranger, DFO, and many other posts. The pay package of a class 1 officer varies between $800,000 and $2000,000. Every year, so many students are appointed as ACFs and other forestry officers. In the 4th year of your course, you will have to go to an internship and have to work under the supervision of a DFO to gain experience in various situations faced in the forest and gain practical knowledge. It is too adventurous and interesting.
Infrastructure: Our college is now the fastest developing branch in Odisha and the A1 hostel facility is definitely good and feels like a peaceful environment. The food provided by the hostel is delicious and in a well-managed order. All our campuses are provided with free Wi-Fi and smart classrooms. There is also a large central library for overseas students. The agronomy field is also situated near the college for a survey and practical purposes. A sports emporium is also present for the refreshment and amusement of students, provided with sports equipment and various gaming devices. A gym is also present for building better health.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and experienced teachers who not only teach us about theory but also master every practical task. And in our course, survey work and practicals are more important than anything. There are 8 semesters in a 4-year programme of study.
Other: If you love nature and exploring nature is your passion, then choose this course blindly. Of course, you may not always be in the AC and office, but what about the tree shed? Sometimes it gives more pleasure than AC.

* Limited job opportunities: Many students reported that there were limited job opportunities available through the placement cell, with only a few companies visiting the campus. (Multiple reviewers)
* Low placement rates: According to students, fewer than 10% of students would typically get placed through the placement cell. (Several reviewers)
