The criteria for OU-Aspire merit-based scholarships for BSc students at Oriental University is their percentage score in Class 12. These scholarships are provided to the students in the form of a rebate on the annual course fee. For instance, a student pursuing BSc (Hons) in Agriculture at Oriental University with over 90% in Class 12 will have to pay a reduced annual fee of INR 57,500 instead of the INR 65,000. A candidate scoring 75% to 89.99 % in Class 12 will have to pay an annual fee of INR 60,000. No rebate will be provided to the students with less than 60% in Class 12.

Oriental University starts accepting early bird registrations for various programmes typically in February. In 2024, the early bird registration for BPharma at the university commenced on Feb 12, 2024 and continued till April 30, 2024. This was the first round of admission. It was followed by various other rounds based on the availability of seats. The fourth round of admission is currrently ongoing. The registrations for this round started on July 16,2024. The last date to register for the fourth round of admission is August 14, 2024.

Oriental University offers a BPharma programme that lasts four years. Apart from the regular BPharma programme, the university also offers BPharma (Lateral Entry) programme. The duration of this programme is three years. There are several opportunities for BPharm graduates in the government sector. BPharma graduates of Oriental University can apply for these jobs either directly, or through an exam conducted for recruitment.
