Hi Mahesh,
The admission is purely dependent on the cut-off. Please check what is the cut-off for each participating university in Law CET and if your cut off matches any university, then you might be called for counselling and then admission.

Hi,
Congratulations, you have got a good rank.
But expecting into Osmania University or JNTUH for CSE, ECE, EEE and IT with that rank is not possible. But you can still try as there are people who leave the seats if they go for IIT's or NIT' s so do try. But if you are interested for other branches.
Like bio tech, chemical, civil them there are chances for you to land into JNTUH. Try other colleges (private) for your interested branches, which have their placements and faculty members as good as JNTUH, like CBIT, Vasavi, VNR Vignan, Gokaraju Rangaraju, SreeNidhi, BVRIT, MGIT, etc. If you would like to go, then give it a try. , According to the last year analysis you cannot get seat into osmania university into civil and mechanical branches. But if you don't want to join into those branches. Don't worry you can go to some lower college with desired branch even those colleges have some better facilities than OU and JNTUH. So decide accordingly. Hope this helps you.

OU is a government funded university whereas CBIT is not. Culture in OU is different to that of CBIT.
I think OU is better for placements and other stuff.

Yes Aruna,
The college provides placements too. It all depends upon the academic performance of the student on the behalf of which placements depend too.

Hi Srikanth,
A candidate for admission to LLB semester course has to qualify 10+2/Intermediate or equivalent thereto, and the Law Common Entrance Examination (LAWCET) for that academic year. The candidates will be admittedly strictly in accordance with the merit secured at the entrance examination, keeping in view the Rules in force in respect of statutory reservation of seats under various categories of candidate.

Yes, it is good for engineering. Placement programme:
You can apply and intern as many times as you want but the placement office and professors help you in finding an internship during 3rd year which is a mandatory one. Microsoft and Google have Student Partner and Student Embassador programs. These are the companies that are on campus for CS:
Amazon, ADP, CA Commvault, Capital IQ, Cisco, Dell, D. E. Shaw, Deloitte, GE, Honeywell, Oracle, Microsoft, Google, Syntel etc. Amazon, Google and D. E. Shaw hire 1 or 2 people. The other companies hire about 56. Almost everyone from my class ended up with multiple job offers. Average pay for Google, MS etc. Was in the range 10- 12 LPA. It was around 67 for the rest. I still feel OU has a lot to catch up to reach NIT and IIT standards. Better faculty, students who are passionate to learn, diversity will make the college much better. This was all back in 2012. I'm not aware of the current scenario.
