To apply for the Osmania University MCA course, it is mandatory to appear for the Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET). The final selection is based on TSICET counselling process.  TSICET is a computer-based exam, conducted for a duration of two and a half-hour in as many as 14 cities across Telangana. 

Candidates seeking admission at Osmania University PG Diploma course must have passed graduation or its equivalent recognised by Osmania University. Apart from the minimum eligibility requirement, Osmania University also accepts The Common Post Graduate Entrance Test (CPGET) scores. Candidates not appearing for the CPGET entrance test are not eligible for OU PG Diploma admission.
