Certainly. My friend passed out LLB in 2022 from PU. The Faculty Members were all very good and they taught us with lot of dedication. There were part time Faculty Members also, and some of them rose to be Judges of High Court and also Supreme Court. I am sure the quality of Faculty even today would be as good as it was then. I am not saying so because Law Dept. PU, happens to be my Alma Mater, but because I see a lot of pass outs do well as lawyers . The university otherwise also has a glorious past to substantiate its credentials. The last to last Retired Chief Justice Of India, Justice Kehar was a pass out of Law Dept, PU. The Late Justice Punchi, who retired as Chief Justice of India also taught at Law Dept. PU. Our former PM, Sardar Manmohan Singh was a Faculty Member in Economics Dept. of PU. The list is endless . Some of the Vice Chancellors like DR. Bambah, have international fame in their fields. In any case you can search the rating at internet but I would rate PU good for doing law.
