Admission at Amity University Punjab is quite competitive too but in majority of the cases admission strictly depends upon the course to which the candidate has applied and excellence in his academic achievement. For undergraduate courses like B.Tech, BBA, or B.Com, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria with minimum marks in qualifying exam-class 12 and its equivalent for respective courses. In case of MBA, admission mostly depends on performance in entrance exams conducted by an organisation like Amity JEE or CAT. While the admissions process at Amity University is reasonably flexible, gaining admission to highly preferred courses usually demands the best academic records, entrance test scores, and other specific achievements.

The average salary after accomplishing B.Tech in Amity University Punjab usually comes within the range of ?4 to ?6 Lacs per year. However, this depends on things concerning student performances at the academic level, specialization, demand in industry, and such on-campus internships or projects that students are taking up while doing their B.Tech. The packages are as follows: For high-demand disciplines, such as Computer Science, IT, and Electronics Engineering, the packages are quite higher, up to ?12 Lacs per annum when placed with top companies. Amity University Punjab is a good choice for those doing an LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws) degree. The University curriculum is designed in such a way that it offers theoretical knowledge along with practical training. It has a well-structured programme that prepares students in the legal profession; they are exposed to case studies, moot courts, and internship. The faculty members have strong academic backgrounds and excellent professional experiences. The other positive aspect about this university is infrastructure, library, and career guidance. The campus recruitment facility available at Amity helps in placement. Students are placed with law firms, corporates, and public sector institutions. However, research is recommended for programme-specific details before enrolling.

Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University and Desh Bhagat University provide competitive placement opportunities, though the statistics are quite different. SGGSWU claimed a placement rate of about 79% for its MBA graduates with top recruiters including Cadbury and Nestle. In contrast, DBU has a more vibrant placement cell, thereby achieving almost 94 percent placements in various programs with HDFC Bank and Infosys recruiting. Because SGGSWU brings an excellent reputation, better placement rates and stronger industry networks at DBU can present DBU as an easy choice for students looking to attend.
