One of the best agriculture engineering colleges in India with really good placements.
Placements: 20–25 students out of 70 were placed and the rest of them wanted to go for further studies at IIT Kharagpur, a few wanted to do an MBA; and some of the students in our batch wanted to go to America on scholarships to do a Masters. The top recuring companies are John Deere, Mahindra, Tafe, and Amul .
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is satisfactory and hostels are also okay, as all the hostels in government universities are same but mess is really good; non-vegetarians are served 3 days in mess and the average mess bill is around 4-5k per person if he eats regularly. Classrooms are not provided with ACs.
Faculty: Exams are a little bit difficult and 75% attendance is compulsory. And the minimum passing mark required is 50% for every exam. If we fail in any subject, then next year we have to pick that subject again. And there are certain restrictions on picking up the subjects again .
Other: In B.Tech. Agri., we study subjects like civil, mechanical, computer, farm power and machinery, post-harvest food engineering, and soil and water engineering. It is a really good degree for someone who has a keen interest in agriculture.

Satisfied because of good faculty members, good environment, and average placement.
Placements: Almost 25% of students were placed, with an average package of 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Escort Tractor, Amul, etc. Most people prefer higher studies to light up their careers. You mainly study soil and water, irrigation system, food& processing engineering, and farm machinery and equipment.
Infrastructure: Wi-fi is available everywhere on campus. Labs are good. Classrooms are also good. The library is perfect for self-studying, 24*7 facilities are provided in the reading hall. The main library hall is open from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 9 pm, all facilities are provided here.
Faculty: The semester exam at PAU is more difficult than in other colleges. It has three phases of exam - hourly, mid-term, and end-term. If you want to copy then you to do hard work and smart work and keep in touch with professors. Maximum OCPA - 8.30, average OCPA- 7.00.

Everything about the College of Agricultural Engineering and PAU is positive.
Placements: Placements are really good here. If you have scored a good CGPA or even less, they will provide you placements if you don't want to continue your studies further. About 35 students get placed every year among 80 because others continue their studies in M.Tech.
Infrastructure: The hostels are really not good, but the mess food is awesome. Classes are good, but in summer they are exhausting because they don’t have AC in the classrooms. Otherwise, there is a problem of leakage in some classes. Some creativity is also shown in the classrooms as the infrastructure is unique.
Faculty: Exams are taken three times in a semester: hourly, mid, and final. The final exams are the toughest; the others are easy to pass. Teachers are good and helpful; they have a lot of experience, and their way of teaching is good. The seniors are also very helpful, and there is no ragging in the whole PAU.
Other: You will get a lot of opportunities here in every field. In whichever area you are good, you can participate very easily. It is a very open environment here, and every five students are provided with one advisor to help with any problems they may have.

Review of PAU - Punjab Agricultural University.
Placements: Most placements are provided in the farm sector by tractor and farm machinery manufacturers like John Deere, Mahindra Agri, Escorts, etc. Almost 20% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered to now is 7.5 LPA. Very few students prefer to do an internship in farm sector companies. Majority of students prefer institutes and training centre for industrial training.
Infrastructure: The university is fully equipped with labs. Library provides a wide number of books. Wi-Fi facility is available only at few locations. Classrooms are old, and maintenance is average. The college provides about 5-6 boys hostels and three girls hostel. Quality of the food served in the canteen and mess is poor, and some students get sick due to food. Indoor games are available almost in every hostel. A hospital is available with 2-3 doctors. Students must have their medical card with them for treatment. Sports facilities are awesome. University provides a swimming pool, hockey ground, football ground, basketball court, handball ground, athletes track and Cycling Velodrome.
Faculty: All faculty members in our college are well qualified, but they focus on research than teaching. The course curriculum is revised when that is required. Recently the course curriculum was revised in 2016 to meet the advances in industry and engineering. Some course must be added, and some of the present courses must be deleted.
Other: Very few students get admission in this college, and there are many numbers of government services. The campus is the heart of the city, so transport is easily available.

Satisfied as it has good teachers and facilities.
Placements: About 80% students got placed. The highest package offered was 18.5 LPA and the lowest was 6 LPA package. Top recruiting companies are John Deere, Class, Mahindra, etc. There are also several other options after this courses like bank services, government services and also services in private sector.
Infrastructure: Good facilities and infrastructure are available here such as Wi-Fi, labs, library, etc. Hostels are good, food is awesome, a special hospital is there for medical facilities and all the other facilities are provided for sports and recreation, etc.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful. All are highly qualified, knowledgeable and the teaching quality is very good. Course curriculum is very relevant. There is a specially appointed advisory for a group of every 5 students that helps students regarding anything.
Other: I chose this course as it has high demand and helps to gain a lot of information about several fields. Many events are organized including scholarships, etc.

Q:   Can I get Punjab Agricultural University, MBA with a 75 percentile in CAT?

    A:

Yes, you can get Punjab Agricultural University's MBA programme in agribusiness with a 75 percentile in CAT.Many MBA colleges accept CAT percentiles in the range of 70-80, giving more weightage to candidates' profiles than the CAT exam scores. While securing a 75 percentile in CAT might not be as difficult as getting an IIM call, there are still several top-tier management colleges that offer MBA admission based on CAT 75 percentile.Keep in mind that while a 75 percentile in CAT can get you admission to the college, you should also possess a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institution with the minimum aggregate marks, usually in the range of 50% to 60%, depending on the college and category of the candidate (General, SC/ST, OBC, etc.).
