If you are thinking about placement and your career, I would suggest you to avoid Punjab Agricultural University at any cost. There's no placement and even if they are mostly in sales department that a candidate eventually leave. You should consider any other University if you don't want to regret later in your life. I have done graduation and post graduation from here and till date I haven't seen any one offering lucrative packages. There's no work culture over here, all you would learn in the course of your degree is going and dealing with clerical staff.

As far as I remember, last year the exam was of two and half hours and the total marks was 180. Though ICAR doesn't provide a marks vs. rank statistics, nor does it release the marks of the students in its results, nor does it allow students to take the offline paper home, so I can't give an exact value of the cutoff score. I think you should aim for something above 100 as the competition is quite stiff. A rank within 2000 will guarantee you a seat in the first counseling itself, while the second counseling ends at a rank around 7k.

It is very easy. They have PAU CET test. Fill online forum for pau Cet and start preparing now. I have cleared pau Cet 2016 and I am student of pau now. I can experience your struggle now. I also have struggled a lot as I was not getting pau Cet question papers neither from internet nor from market. I was not getting any book of pau Cet, all shops were having only one arihant Bsc agriculture entrance test preparation book which was originally meant for ICAR test… that book is of no use for pau Cet… I also struggled a lot in finding any good coaching centre for pau Cet. I had attended k2 solutions and Aakash institute demo class, trust me they just have advertisements. Absolute zero study level there, you can study 10 times better at your home by your own self. Plus their fees structure for pau Cet is very high. Last year they were charging 25000 for one month… that's pretty huge! Then one of my friend suggested me Sunny coaching classes in ludhiana. My friend got cleared his test at SCC. I got demo class and then joined after demo class… sunny sir have enough material specially designed for pau Cet, they provided me chapterwise notes and mcq test series for pau Cet. They also provided pau Cet test papers and we solved there… I got very good rank in just 20 days… you have enough time now.they have batches of just 8 students at a Time… their tricks are really helpful. And there fees structure is very low. They are specialist of pau Cet test… you can start preparing for pau Cet at your Home, if you want coaching join sunny coaching classes with no doubt… get demo class, if you like join. You can get contact detail of scc, search ‘sunny coaching classes Ludhiana’ . their coaching centre is near bus stand Ludhiana.
