Q: Is B.Tech at Periyar Maniammai University better than SASTRA University?

Yes slightly better than sastra university as far fees is concerned the fees is slightly less than sastra university. You can get more engineering streams as compared to sastra and curriculum is good no burden on the students as far as exams is concerned.

You can get good industrial knowledge in thus university and faculty is also far better than any pvt university as far as main campus is concerned. From placement perspective salary around 20 Lacs is given upto 60 percent students and uptov50 Lacs to 5 to 10 percent student which is also a big deal as compared to sastra university.

Infrastructure: PMIST is eco-friendly, energy-efficient, lush green, clean and raging free, and it has a conducive environment for students' life. It offers a zero-carbon campus, and the infrastructure is good with a healthy environment. Bus facilities are available in all places within 100 km. Hostel facilities are also available along with a gym, and Wi-Fi is also available. Hygiene food and living spaces are available, and workers clean the living space frequently in the hostel. Our college provides internships which help students to mention in their resumes. You have to focus on learning languages, data structures and algorithms to get a placement on your own. There is a placement cell, which ensures 100% placements and forwards the available opportunities to you and even in future. Every reputed company visits the campus to provide diverse job opportunities.

Infrastructure: As the campus is in Delhi, considering hot summers, our campus is completely air-conditioned, which is an advantage. Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The library is world-class with enormous books. The process of issuing books is completely digital. CD library is also provided to students for core subjects as well as for spoken English courses. It has really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: 95% of students prepare for college-level reading and writing, 57% of students go for digital marketing, 55% of students go for web development, and 68% of students go for placements. Students practice Python in Internshala. Web development, computer science and engineering, MBA, and cybersecurity courses are offered.

Infrastructure: The quality of facilities, hostel, food, mess, canteen, medical facilities, sports and games is very good. The facilities available are Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library. Health care, transportation, hostel and canteen facilities are available. Events are held.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good and very useful to me. This course curriculum is relevant. Practical knowledge is provided. You get to work on your weak areas and manage your time. It makes the students industry-ready.

Other: I chose it because I like computer science. There is a lot to learn like C, C+, Python etc.
