Yes, JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) marks are accepted by Periyar Maniammai University for admission to its engineering majors. Applicants may apply for admission to Periyar Maniammai University's B.Tech programs if they have taken the JEE Main entrance test and have a valid score. Students must have passed the 12th grade with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for the reserved category) in addition to having a valid JEE Main score.PMU creates an admission merit list and shortlists students for counseling and seat distribution based on the JEE Main and 12th results.During the counseling procedure, seats are distributed according to JEE Main rank, programme preference, academic standing, category, availability, etc.

Direct admission is not available for the majority of undergraduate and graduate programs, including BTech, MBA, MCA, BSc, MSc, and others. You must apply via tests such as the PMUEET, GATE, TANCET, and so forth. Direct admission to certain programs, such as BA, BCom, and BCA, may be possible based on qualifying tests such as 12th boards. There aren't many seats available, though.Diploma holders can directly enroll in the second year of BTech/BPharm programs at PMU through lateral entry programs.Direct admission is typically permitted for programmes such as the Diploma and PG Diploma after application screening.

Yes slightly better than sastra university as far fees is concerned the fees is slightly less than sastra university. You can get more engineering streams as compared to sastra and curriculum is good no burden on the students as far as exams is concerned. You can get good industrial knowledge in thus university and faculty is also far better than any pvt university as far as main campus is concerned. From placement perspective salary around 20 Lacs is given upto 60 percent students and uptov50 Lacs to 5 to 10 percent student which is also a big deal as compared to sastra university.

Not compulsory but you can take admission by JEE marks almost 40 percent seats for b tech courses are fulfilled by JEE exam score and 60 percent seats areful filled by thier own entrance test exam mode.So if you score good marks around 120 out of 200 in thus university entrance exam so you can get the sear and for JEE exam it is around 95 to 97 percentile.
