Placement is fine about 80 to 90 percent students get placed in the reputed firm like hdfc bank hdfc axis bank icici bank flipkart amazon some investment bank such as  goldmine sachs also recruti two students last year and management consultants firm such medhoj firm and delloitte also recruit students.The average salary goes upto 6 Lacs and the highest salary offered from international firm goes upto 25 Lacs per annum.

You have to score 70 percent marks in class 12 with PCM and English as your subject in class 12. Then you must score 95 to 97 percentile in JEE Mains or must score 120 to 150 marks in thier entrance for B.Tech admission If you score around 120 then you will get a basic core engineering branch like Computer Science and IT or ECE if you score between 135 to 150 mark.

The fees is different for different courses B.Tech courses 1lakh 40000 per year  and security money at the time of admission is 10000 rs.For MBA courses the fees is 2 Lacs per year and security. Money is 20000 .For other courses such as bsc  in pcm or pcb is 50000 per year.For B.Sc in agriculture is around 80000 per year and security fees is 10000 rs.For barchar courses it is around 1 Lacs 90000 per year .For animation courses the Diploma courses in animation fees is around 1lakh 20000 per year.For biotech courses B.Sc biotechnology or other life Science course the fees is around 90000 per year.

 I think the answer is no because both universities are private university and both are good university as far as curriculum is concerned so both the universities charges almost tge same amount of fees for thier subjects.As far as btech  courses is concerned  periyar University charges 70000 per sem and sastra also acharges 72000 per sem which is not a big difference and devplment fees and hostel fees is almost same approximately 20000 per year .As far MBA is concerned sastra charges 1 Lacs per se. Where periyar charge 80000 per sem  so here periyar is less expensive than sastra university.For other courses you also find  periyar charge less amount than sastra university though the  difference is upto 5000 rs.

The entrance exam is based upon the JEE main exam  and the entrance  exam of thus university.  About 20 percent Sat's are fulfilled by the JEE exam and 60 percent are fulfilled by the entrance exam  of this university. You have to score 95 to 97 percentile to get the seat in this college through JEE main and if you want admission through entrance exam of this university then you have to score at least 105 marks put of 200 and if you score 135 marks out of 200 then you can get good B.Tech stream .

Yes, you can get admission to Periyar Maniammai University for B.Tech with 60% in Class 12th. The university's eligibility criteria for B.Tech state that candidates should have passed Class 12 with the concerned subject. The university accepts JEE Main/Uni-GAUGE entrance exams for admission to B.Tech. The fees is slightly different for different stream of mba Mba finance fees is 2 Lacs per year and security and development fees is 25000  whuch is one time.Mba finance with banking and investment the fees is 2.5 Lacs per year and security and development fees is same.Mba banking is around 2 .2 Lacs and rest fees us same Mba sales and marketing fees is 1.7 Lacs per year Mba HR fees is  around 2 Lacs and the rest fees security money and development fees is same.
