PUB has a higher placement percentage when compared to SET. It may be due to the fact that PUB offers a wider range of programs other than engineering when compared to SET. the average salary range is also higher at PUB and is in the range of 5 to 10 Lakhs per annum while SET's anerage salary range is close to 4 LPA. If you are interested in engineering streams, SET might be better suited for you as it offers diverse options of engineering branches which may appeal to your interests. In short your question has a very complex answer actually and therefore you need to be more specific like your interest in the program, future plans etc.
