{Source: B.A. students & alumni}Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's what we found:* Teaching: The faculty members are well-qualified, experienced, and knowledgeable. They use effective teaching methods, including presentations, lectures, and in-depth research.* Course Curriculum: The course curriculum is relevant, up-to-date, and industry-ready. Students appreciate the emphasis on general education courses, particularly for Humanities students.* Infrastructure: The university has modernized infrastructure, including well-stocked libraries, spacious classrooms, and Wi-Fi connectivity across the campus.* Campus Life: The campus life is vibrant, with regular academic and extracurricular activities. The university has a strong focus on sports, with facilities like football, basketball, and volleyball courts.* Placements: Unfortunately, the university doesn't offer direct placements for arts students (including B.A.). However, students can explore off-campus opportunities, pursue further studies, or appear for competitive exams like UPSC.* Career Options: While there aren't many job opportunities directly related to the B.A. program, graduates can consider roles in industries like human resources, marketing, or journalism. In summary, Presidency University seems to excel in providing quality education, infrastructure, and campus life for its students. However, the lack of direct placements for arts students might be a concern for some students. Overall, students who prioritize academic excellence and personal growth may find Presidency University a suitable choice for their undergraduate degree in B.A.

{Source: M.Sc. students & alumni}Effectiveness of Placement Cell for M.Sc. Programs at Presidency UniversityUnfortunately, the placement cell at Presidency University does not seem to be effective for M.Sc. programs. According to the students' reviews:* Limited placement opportunities: Students from certain fields like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Statistics, and Language Departments might receive job offers from private institutions or banks, but the numbers are relatively low.* No direct campus placement: The university does not have a professional placement cell, making it challenging for students to secure jobs directly from campus.* Students opt for research instead: Many students prioritize pursuing research over seeking employment, which suggests that the placement cell's efforts may not be meeting their expectations. While the university provides excellent infrastructure, faculties, and facilities, its placement record seems limited.

{Source: B.Sc. students & alumni}Effectiveness of Placement Cell for B.Sc. Courses at Presidency UniversityBased on the reviews and comments from students and alumni, it appears that the placement cell for B.Sc. courses at Presidency University is inactive or non-existent. Here are the key points that summarize the effectiveness of the placement cell:* Lack of placement assistance: According to several students, the university does not provide any good placements after graduation, and most of their seniors pursue further studies instead.* No placement cell for B.Sc. courses: None of the students mentioned having a dedicated placement cell for B.Sc. courses, unlike other departments like economics and statistics.* Limited internship opportunities: Some students noted that there are no in-built internship opportunities available, and they have to find their own internships outside of the university.* Dependence on individual efforts: As one student put it, "If anyone wants to achieve something, they need to work on their own."Overall, it seems that the placement cell for B.Sc. courses at Presidency University is ineffective, and students rely on their own efforts to secure placements or pursue further education.

In my opinion both the institutions are good in there own way . Yes the IISER is good as presidency University Kolkata because IIISER is institutes are allowing the master projects outside the country and it is the best opportunity for the students to explore the Science field around the world . At the same time IISER is the one of the topmost research institute in Indian if you want to pursue your degree in research field . But don't take the institute depends on the name of the institutes because the job opportunities are based on the degree certificate not on the name of the institute. But it's okay to overview about the college.
