Here are some key points about pursuing an MBA from PJTSAU (Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University):PJTSAU offers a 2-year full-time MBA programme with specializations in Agribusiness and Food Industry Management. The MBA curriculum has courses focused on agriculture, food industry, commodity trading, rural management, etc. which are unique and relevant.Being an agricultural university, PJTSAU has good connections and placements opportunities in agribusiness, food processing, commodity trading companies.Past recruiters include companies like ITC, Mahindra Agri, NAFED, Varun Beverages, etc. So decent companies come for placements. The faculty have experience in agricultural and rural domains which adds value for students interested in these sectors. The tuition fees for the MBA programme is quite reasonable compared to private MBA colleges. So it's an affordable option. However, it lacks the brand value of an IIM or top tier business school. So getting management roles in mainstream industries may be difficult. The alumni network and peer networking opportunities are limited compared to bigger MBA colleges.Facilities like campus recruitment, global exposure, research resources may also be limited. In summary, PJTSAU's MBA is a good option for those interested specifically in agribusiness sector and want an affordable programme focused on agriculture and food industries. But mainstream management aspirants may prefer an MBA from a top tier business school.

Here are a few key pointsPJTSAU considers the agriculture rank obtained in the common state-level exam TS EAMCET, not JEE Mains. However, JEE Mains percentile gives an indication of the expected TS EAMCET agriculture rank. For general category students, a JEE Mains percentile of 75-85 corresponds to an approximate TS EAMCET agriculture rank of 1500-2500.As per previous years' cutoff data, general category students with ranks up to 3000 can get admission in agricultural engineering/food tech B.Tech programs at PJTSAU.So a JEE Mains percentile in the 75-85 range makes students eligible and moderately competitive for admission at PJTSAU, provided they score a similar agriculture rank in TS EAMCET.Apart from ranks, preferences for specialisation and campus also matter during counselling.Reserved category students have higher chances with the same percentiles due to relaxation in cutoffs.
