My college is a very good college.
Placements: My percentile of JEE Main exam is 87. My college's highest package is 1.2 Cr. And my branch's highest package is 40 LPA, and the average package is 15 to 20 LPA, and the lowest package is 12 LPA. All companies are coming to my college. And higher the good placement.
Infrastructure: My college's infrastructure is very high, and the hostel fee is 80 thousand for the 1st year. And the college fee is 1 Lakh 13 thousand rupees for the 1st year. But lab, Wi-Fi, classrooms, and facilities in your hostel, the quality of food available in the mess and canteen, medical facilities, sports, and games are very beautiful.
Faculty: My college's teachers are very helpful, qualified, and have higher knowledge. The teaching quality is the best of any other college. This is my experience. The curriculum follows the new pattern, and this is the most important. Yes, most of the time, the semester exam is difficult.

PEC placements, college life.
Placements: Placements are the best aspect of this college. One of the few universities in India that offers good job opportunities in non-circuital fields such as mechanical, production, and aerospace. Internships are also a wonderful option. People get internships at companies such as BMW and JP Morgan.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is relatively good It exceeds expectations for a government college. There is a 5G lab, a semiconductor lab, hostels and classrooms have been removed, air conditioning will be installed for the summer, and new structures are being built. So one can see the growth of infrastructure.
Faculty: The faculty here is a little motivated, but they are highly qualified and teach very effectively if you pay attention. Some teachers are very kind to their students. There is little grading, so achieving a good mark is easy, but getting an A+ is difficult due to competition.

3rd best placements in North India @PEC.
Placements: Placements are the best thing about this college. One of the few colleges in India that gives good placements in non-circuital branches like mechanical, production, and aerospace. Internships are also good here. People get internship in companies like BMW, J.P. Morgan, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. It is more than expected for a government college. There is a 5G lab, a semiconductor lab, hostels have been renovated, classrooms are being renovated, ACs will be installed for the summer, and new buildings are also being constructed. So one can see the progress in infrastructure.
Faculty: The faculty here is a bit motivated but they are very qualified and teach very well if you listen carefully. Some teachers, like the senior ones, are not student-friendly. The new teachers are very student friendly. There is relatively little grading, so getting a decent grade is easy but it is tough to get an A+ because of the high competition. Exams need to be invigilated properly, as there is a lot of cheating.

4Placements4Infrastructure3Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Placements are good, college life is mediocre, hostel life is great, and mess is the worst
Placements: Top recruiters from mechanical backgrounds are from non-mechanical backgrounds, such as fintech or finance-related backgrounds at JP Morgan and management firms like McKinsey. Also, there are a few mechanical-related companies like Being. The highest package (2023) is 40 LPA (only mechanical). The percentage of students placed in the mechanical department is 83%.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average, but you could find Siemens labs and semiconductor labs, and of course branch-specific labs like manufacturing, production, computer centers, and 3D printing labs. Athletic ground, football ground, cricket ground, gym, swimming pool, basketball ground, table tennis at hostel, badminton court, common room for carrom, chess, fuss ball, etc. are there. Mess food is rated 2 out of 5. Hostels are in bad condition but could be managed. You'll ignore it and it's going to be the best time of your life.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable; they know a lot about tier-specific fields but are just not able to convey (personally, I feel). If you have specific doubts, they are great. The curriculum is old for almost all engineering colleges except IITs and a few NITs. (in non-circuital branches). Semester exams are manageable and you could score the best if you prepared just one week before.

Honest review about PEC - Chandigarh.
Placements: Approximately 90 percent students get placed in good companies through on campus placement. For my course top recruiting company this year was Airbus. The highest package in my course was nearly 14-15 Lacs. Students get internship in 3rd year.
Infrastructure: The college has great classrooms and Wi-Fi is also available to the students for free to all the students and works everywhere except a few places. The labs also have all required machines and are there available for students. However the only drawback is the Hostel food as its food is very good.
Faculty: The faculty of the college is very good and all the professors have great knowledge of their subject. All the teachers are highly qualified. Yes the course curriculum is industry relevant and all the courses in the college were updated in 2021.
