Yes, you can get admission on the basis of home state quota. You should choose branches other than CSE. You can go for civil, electrical, mechanical, electronics and information technology.

The SC and ST candidates are exempted from paying tuition fees in NITs. So, they have to pay the mess or other charges. While in PEC 50% tuition fee waiver is provided to SC/ST students.
