It depends on your state and category. Though, you can get admission in Thapar University.

As per MHRD 2016 ranking, VIT University is ranked 13 and PEC University Chandigarh is ranked 37. Therefore, based on ranking, VIT University is a better option for doing B.Tech in comparison to PEC University, Chandigarh.
