The seat allotment procedure is divided into various rounds. Candidates having valid GATE scores are given first preference followed by non-GATE candidates. Candidates not having GATE scores are considered on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination and choices filled.

Candidates seeking admission to BTech programme have to apply through the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) portal. The entire admission process (from application to counselling) takes place through REAP only. The eligibility criteria for the course is Class 12 with a minimum 45% aggregate (40% for reserved category candidates).
