However, candidates applying for MVSc are exempted from appearing for a test if they fall under any of the below categories:Seats reserved under ICAR nominee.Candidates who have nominated by ICAR/foreign nationals sponsored by ICAR/GOIField extension functionaries deputed by Government of RajasthanIn-service candidates of RAJUVAS and/ or considered as 'in-service of the university' by the university. However, they will be required to fulfil academic qualificationsAdmission to all the courses is entrance-based except diploma. Aspirants applying for Diploma have to fulfil the academic requirements for admission.

ICAR AIEEA and ICAR AICE-JRF/ SRF scores are required for PG and PhD programmes, respectively. The selection for Diploma is based on merit of the candidates in the last qualifying exam. Selected candidates have to register for university counselling for seat allotment. Aspirants who are alloted seat need to pay a fee to confirm their seat in the university.
