An awesome campus with perfection.
Placements: Placements in the college were awesome. I got a placement in a company named Orange Trips which was a DMC for Maldives, Bali & Mauritius located in Bangalore. Placements in the college are 100%, i.e., each of the students gets the placement. All of the seniors are also placed well in various reputed companies. However, the placement cell is not proactive for the tourism students/courses especially. The concerned professors take care of the placements. They provide placements by contacting various companies as well as their known students. The lowest salary you can expect is around Rs 10,000 per month. The highest salary one can expect around Rs 30,000 per month while the average salary will be around Rs 15,000-20,000 per month. All the students from our batch undergone an internship for at least 45 days, and none of them got a stipend. It was not a big thing for me as I learned a lot of things during my internship. We should focus on learning rather than getting a stipend.
Infrastructure: The campus is located in the lap of nature between lush greenery. It's a plateau area so that you will find a lot of rocks. During summers, you can experience a hot and humid summer while during you can experience extremely cool temperatures. The infrastructure of hostels, as well as classrooms, is awesome in the college. The classrooms are well-equipped with modern infrastructure like projectors. The library has ample no. of books, but yet you can have to struggle in finding books related to various topics and papers. The campus features a gym with all fitness equipment installed in it. The campus hosts its own inter-faculty sports championship every 3-6 months which helps in empowering the hidden talents of the students apart from the study. It also has a large playground which has ample of space for every game. The medical facilities are a little bit disappointing here. It has a small health center which lacks even the essential medications. In case of serious injuries, one has to go far around 10 km as the private clinic located in Mirzapur. It's a bit disappointing. The food in the hostel canteen is worth the amount which you pay. The simple breakfast costs you Rs 15 while lunch and dinner cost Rs 25 /lunch/dinner. You cant expect more in this price. I can guarantee that you will love this place.
Faculty: The faculty members of the college are well experienced having more than 10+ years of experience in their respective fields. They are quite supportive too. They used to teach by various ways like sometimes by verbal communication, a healthy discussion, sometimes by a presentation on the projector, etc. The students to faculty ratio of the college was 30:1. Exposure to industry was neither too good nor too bad in the college. Overall, I gained a lot of things from there which helped me in surviving in this industry. The course curriculum is very useful and understanding the concepts of the curriculum will help you a lot in the upcoming industry exposure.
Other: The campus hosts its inter-faculty youth fest named Disha which includes various events from each perspective like academics as well as extra-curricular activities. The winners of youth fest take part in Spandan (inter-university youth fest of BHU) where they compete with the winners from all the faculty members of the university, it's a memorable experience. The hostels as well as, classrooms have 24*7 Wi-Fi facility with up to 10 Mbps of downloading speed.

An average institution with good exposure and interactive studies.
Placements: As of now, I am not placed yet because I am still in my first year of the programme. What I find is that my seniors are well placed, and almost all of them are working. Some of them are in MNCs and others are working as entrepreneurs as well. It's a good place to learn the basics of the tourism industry.
Infrastructure: This is where this institution might lack because of its position, and it is located far from the city. Still, it provides a variety of services. There is a big playing ground. Wi-Fi facilities are also available. A library with the facility of the internet is also there. Hostels are well furnished and are available to every student studying here.
Faculty: The faculty have been changing here, but there is an experienced teaching staff. One may feel lack of teachers in case of opting the optional subject. The course curriculum is good enough to understand the basics and working of the industry. It also provides a good exposure by providing interactive classroom discussions and also by offering various tours and competitions.
