Academics wise good than placements.
Placements: There are limited core opportunities for branches like mechanical, civil, or electronics. The number of companies visiting the campus might be fewer compared to IT/software companies. Many students from non-IT branches are forced to take software roles due to limited core placements.
Infrastructure: Course-wise, it was fine. The quality of food is absolutely better than other colleges. It is a Wi-Fi-enabled campus with smart classrooms and advanced learning resources. There are facilities for sports: cricket, football, basketball, badminton, and more.
Faculty: The university boasts experienced professors, many with Ph.D.s from good institutions. Faculty members are approachable, offering personal guidance for academics, projects, and placements. Reva University follows a semester system, with two semesters per academic year.

What it takes to be in REVA University.
Placements: Placements and job opportunities at REVA University in my experience is a mixed bag. While the university does attract several companies to campus, the overall outcome depends on the course. For my course, Bioinformatics the placement scenario wasn't particularly very strong. The eligibility typically includes a minimum CGPA and a good academic standing, specific criteria depends on the recruiter, Dell was one of the notable recruiters for our batch, only 20 students out of a batch of 50 were placed. The highest package was 8 LPA and average LPA was around 3 to 4 LPA. The most common role was a medical code, which unfortunate doesn't align well with the skills gained in Bioinformatics. Sadly, internships weren't part of the picture of our course. None of the students from my batch managed to secure an internship, which felt like a missed opportunity to bridge the gap between academics and industry expectations.
Infrastructure: The Bioinformatics department has all the essential facilities. There's a computer Science lab with decent internet and software for our coursework, plus a wet lab for practical. The central library is a huge help with a wide range of books journals and even online resources classroom are comfortable with projectors. The hostels are pretty good with clean rooms. The food is not amazing but definitely edible. They offer both vegetarian and non vegetarian options. On top of that the campus has plenty of food outlets including branded ones, so you always have options if you want something different. There is a health center on campus for basic medical needs and emergencies which is convenient. The sports facilities are excellent, with a cricket ground, basketball courts, and a gym. If you serious about sports the university provides support.
Faculty: I chose Bioinformatics because of my interest in both medicine and engineering, it's a powerful and emerging field. Most of the faculty members are well qualified with PhDs either completed or ongoing. While their knowledge is commendable, some tend to prioritize work, which occasionally takes precedence over teaching responsibilities. Despite this, many are approachable and helpful when student seek guidance. The curriculum is solid, blending Biology and computer Science effective, but it could be more industry oriented with updated tolls and real would applications. The focus on theoretical knowledge is strong but more hands on learning would better prepare the students for jobs Exams are generally timely, though there are exceptions, especially with lab internals, which are sometimes poorly coordinated at the last minute. The semester exams themselves are very easy but require consistent preparation. The pass percentage is decent, ensuring most students clear the exams with the dedicated effort.
Other: I chose Bioinformatics because of my interests in combining medicine and engineering. Science has always fascinated me, and this course seemed like a powerful and innovative field with immense potential. It's perfect for someone who enjoys exploring the interaction of Biology and technology. The best aspects of the course are its relevance to emerging industries and research, However I wish there were more industry oriented projects and practical exposure to current tools and software which would make it even more impactful. REVA University is known for its vibrant campus life. Events like REVA Deepotsava and Khel Koj are the highlight of the year, showcasing talent and culture across disciplines. The campus is lively with a diverse crowd all over India, making it an excellent place for networking and collaboration. The campus is well connected and surrounded with peaceful green space, offering a mix of convenience and serenity. Extracurricular activities thrive, with countless clubs and opportunities for students to engage in sports arts or technology.

If you are searching for a fine and pleasant college environment, this is it.
Placements: If you're searching for good placements, this college isn't good enough to meet your expectations. Even I had dreams of getting great placements, but I was totally disappointed with the placements and job roles they offered for the course we prepared for. It was completely the opposite.
Infrastructure: The main highlight of the college is its infrastructure. It's one of the best I've seen and experienced. There is a mix of faculty members, most of whom are kind and friendly. There are also a lot of clubs and extracurricular activities that you can take part in, and the college encourages you to do so. Overall, it's the best college that isn't too far out of the city. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.
Faculty: REVA University is an eco-friendly campus, with major chunks of power operating by solar panels. It has experienced teachers and a syllabus that is up to date. They give more preference to extracurricular activities. The extraordinary building architecture and well-maintained, neat lawns are attractive features of this campus. Hostel food is not bad, and the canteen is reasonably priced. However, the mobile signal is weak in certain areas inside the campus. The fully equipped gym is top-notch. Overall, it's a good experience.

Teachers are okay. Decent placements. Good clubs and activities.
Placements: All students are placed in college. Many students opt for higher studies or apply for civil services. The highest salary package offered is 40 LPA, three people secured it. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Many students get internships from almost all the courses offered in college. Top roles offered in my course are AI engineer and ML engineer.
Infrastructure: Classes are fine, just like any other classroom. It is a Wi-Fi-enabled campus with regular classrooms and a projector so that teachers can show PPTs and read from them. I’m not from the hostel, so I can't tell much about it, but the facilities I have seen are good.
Faculty: Teachers are good. They explain well enough for students to understand. Some teachers have a personal grudge against students and can pick on them in their classes. In my opinion, any college doesn't teach. Course, students learn it by themselves. Exams are yet to come, and they are supposed to be of medium difficulty.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in AI/ML, but then there's a lot of mathematics. As mentioned earlier, certain teachers have problems, so you really can't do well. But, other fests and events are very much happening. Many events are conducted by different clubs every month.

Our college makes students' college life memorable along with professional growth.
Placements: Around 70% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3.2 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.3 LPA. Companies like MyCaptain and 24/7 visit the college. Almost 90% of students got internships. Internships are mandatory in the 6th semester. Sales and marketing are the most common domains, but other than that, operations and finance also got the spot.
Infrastructure: Our college has the best infrastructure compared to other colleges in Bangalore. It has smart classrooms, Wi-Fi, online and offline library access, a premium subscription to Microsoft Suits, and many other facilities. Hostel rooms are very spacious and amongst a canopy of trees. The mess and food court have several options to eat from both north and south Indian varieties.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly. All students love to attend all classes in the morning. The course offered is equipped with the latest industry requirements and the guest lectures are informative to attend. Semester exams are not tough if students are attentive in the classes. Every question is plotted from the portions covered in the class and syllabus. Most of the students pass exams except those who do not study at all and do not attend classes.
Other: I chose BBA because it has a good scope in the industry after pursuing commerce. The best thing about BBA is that students are open to several platforms to choose from. I thank you for the specialisation that Reva University offers. A wide range of specialisations to choose from with the best-curated syllabus which perfectly fits the industry requirements. The management should improve and focus on the alumni cell. Every day and every time some or the other events and sports competitions are going on along with additional education training and lectures which are engaging and interesting. The most famous is the Research Paper Presentation Event where several scientists and other researchers come to take part and present their research study. Students are also allowed to take part in it.

College environment is good but poor teaching. There is no good communication with faculty members.
Placements: Only 45% of students in our college were able to secure placements due to the recession. The most sought-after company that visited our college was JUSPAY, offering a package of 20 Lacs. Unfortunately, only 20% of students received internship letters. Furthermore, this year, due to the recession, students did not receive offer letters. The state of placements is quite poor, with only sales companies showing interest in recruiting from our college.
Infrastructure: The Wi-fi and rooms in the infrastructure are of poor quality, while the labs are kept clean. However, there is a significant amount of disturbance caused by ongoing construction. Additionally, there is an issue of the institution scamming students by charging them for certain courses without prior notification during the admission process. The fees for exams are also exorbitant, amounting to 3500, which is unaffordable for many students. Furthermore, the lack of silence during exams adds to the overall inconvenience.
Faculty: The teaching quality is extremely subpar, and during exams, the faculty members fail to maintain silence, causing a disruptive cloud of noise. Moreover, the teachers possess limited knowledge on new topics and solely rely on PowerPoint presentations for explanations, without even utilizing a chalk piece. In some cases, they merely showcase the PowerPoint slides without executing the program.
Other: I thoroughly enjoyed advancing my career with CSE as it provided me with the opportunity to embrace new technologies and enhance my website development skills.

Q:   Is BBA LL.B. (Hons) at Reva University a good choice?

A:
{Source: BBA LL.B. (Hons) students & alumni}

Based on the feedback from students and alumni, here's what we found:

Infrastructure and Facilities: The infrastructure is considered good, with modern amenities such as Wi-Fi, libraries, and recreational spaces. However, some students mention that the facilities could be improved, particularly regarding stationery and laundry services.

Food and Accommodation: Food quality is inconsistent, with some students praising the variety of options while others complain about the taste and availability of certain dishes. Hostels are generally considered comfortable and clean, with ample space and good amenities.

Teaching Quality and Syllabus: Teaching quality varies, with some professors being more effective than others. The curriculum is considered challenging, with exams requiring thorough preparation. However, some students feel that the emphasis is more on passing rather than learning.

Placements and Internships: Placements are limited, with around 50% of LLB graduates finding employment after graduating. Top recruiters include corporate companies and law firms, offering salaries ranging from INR5-20 Lacs per annum. Many students report having to secure internships independently, as the university does not provide organized opportunities.

Campus Life and Extracurriculars: Campus life is vibrant, with various clubs and societies catering to different interests. Moot courts and debates are regular features, providing valuable experience for law students.

Overall Assessment: While Reva University offers a good academic program, its limitations in terms of facilities, placements, and teacher quality may deter some students. Those considering enrollment should weigh these factors against the benefits of attending the institution, such as access to resources and extracurricular activities.

It is essential for potential students to research thoroughly and consult with current or former students to gain a deeper understanding of the pros and cons of enrolling in Reva University's BBA LL.B. (Hons) program.
