SCET Surat. The college is average.

Placements: 40% students we placed from our college were placed. The highest package was 4 LPA and the lowest was 2.5 LPA. There are some local companies that offered placement. Some companies like amazon also offered placement. The placement rating is 4 on 10 according to me.

It is an amazing college with good teaching.

Placements: The previous batch isn't out yet. So we don't know about placement but according to faculty, huge companies come for interviews and they give jobs to many students every year in other branches. Top roles in our college are GS, CS, and LR. Students can have fun and improve leadership skills too.

I am disappointed with this college which is not so great.

Placements: This branch is still new, so placements haven't been that great yet. The first batch is in the final year right now. Many students are doing their internships. According to them, college placement for now is not that great. More or less, they need to contact good companies.

Teachers are good, but I am dissatisfied due to placements and infrastructure.

Placements: Around 20% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Oracle, TCS, Wipro and Essar. Few students are able to grab an internship.

The college has a good infrastructure, but placements are the worst.

Placements: Only one student got placed who scored around 92% of marks in their academics. The salary package offered is 2.75 LPA. Not more than 1-2 companies visited our campus for placements. The top role offered is as a supervisor to a fresher student. In our course, the lowest salary package offered is Rs. 96,000 per annum and the highest salary package offered is 3 LPA. None of the students did an internship as there is no compulsion in the university's curriculum.

The infrastructure and facilities are good, but the faculty are not good compared to other colleges.

Placements: Placements in our college are good, particularly for the electrical department. Reputed companies visit the campus and recruit students with good packages. Last year, Torrent company had visited and hired about 12-13 students from this college. This college also has good training and placement staff. They are very cooperative and are always helpful for students in their placements.

I am quite disappointed with all aspects of the college.

Placements: Training and placement department of the college is good but local companies from Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Pune visit our college for placements. These companies offer salary packages between 1.5 LPA to 4.5 LPA. TCS visited our campus for placements. Roles of junior engineer, sales executive, etc., are offered.

Infrastructure and culture wise, it's the best college.

Placements: Placements are not equal for all departments. The college provides great packages. Big MNC companies also come for recruitment. Torrent Power, Reliance, AMNS, Capgemini, Tata Consultancy Services, etc., usually come for placement.

Average college, average infrastructure.

Placements: According to the university, almost 50 percent of students got placements. The placement cell is working on getting more and more companies, and as the IT industry is growing in Surat, there is a good chance to be a developer, software engineer, bug finder, web designer, etc.
