I am satisfied with our college but it is not good at games.
Placements: Placements are good as a maximum number of students get placed every year. Students are provided with good and effective core placement training to enhance their skills and knowledge. Around 15 to 20 companies visit every year to hire students with a minimum salary package of 1.5 to 25 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities in our college are world-class. Central library contains more than 1,02,600 books, 18,000 springer digital books for different subjects, 290 diaries and magazines for executives, designing, law, and more. We have more than 35 online diary information bases like Science Direct, IEEE, ACM, and ASME. Our college has 3 hostels with adequate facilities for both boys and girls with a fee of Rs.4000 per month including food which is mostly south Indian cuisine.
Faculty: Management is horrible as they squeeze their assistant professors by giving them 16 theory sessions, 1 or 2 lab sessions, and make them 20 sessions per week for 3 to 4 different subjects. CIAs and semester exams are conducted.
Other: I chose bioengineering course which is about the technology of science. The best thing about the course is we can get knowledge about the present science and learn many things.

I recommend students to join this college.
Placements: Our college provided many placements for students to explore many things. It was the best college to explore many things. The lowest salary offered was Rs.35,000 per month. Reputed companies like TCS and CTS visited our college to offer placements. A maximum of 35% of students got placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was very good. Classrooms and the library were very good. Library consisted of many books and was very useful for students. It serves tasty vegetarian food.
Faculty: Exams were conducted accordingly. Our college conducted many exams for students to practice. Faculty members in our college were friendly. They cleared the doubts of the students if needed.
Other: I chose this course as it was the best course to learn. Our college should provide various opportunities for students to explore the world. Many events were organised in our college. Our college gave importance to attendance.

It has good faculty members and a good infrastructure.
Placements: Our course has less scope compared to other courses in SASTRA. However, we can easily improve our talents and become self-sufficient. We can become great people in life by studying at SASTRA. It gives lots of opportunities and lots of placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. There are so many huge departments. There is a huge library to utilise.  It has so many floors to study. There are many resources that we can utilise. They gave us a good hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They are so kind and also generous. They teach and also clear doubts whenever needed. Teachers are also mixed up. There are also teachers who clear the doubts but provide very little internals.
Other: I chose this course just because it is related to the medical field. It also has more scope.

Students also asked

Q:   Can I join SASTRA without JEE?

A:

Admission to all the BTech courses is subject to JEE Main scores and Class 12 scores(given equal weightage) for 50% of the seats and is subject to Class 12 scores for the remaining 50% of the seats. However, as per the official website, there is no fixed or specific cutoff to get a seat here. It depends on the students who score the highest marks. If a student has appeared for JEE Main then they need to apply under stream 1 of admission. Additionally, as per the data available on the internet, if a student has a score of 90-95% in Class 12 and 50-120 in JEE Main, there is a high possibility of getting admission.

Q:   Is M.E./M.Tech at SASTRA University a good choice?

A:
{Source: M.E./M.Tech students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from current students and alumni, here's a summary of the pros and cons:

Infrastructure and Facilities:
* Well-maintained infrastructure, with good labs and library facilities
* Availability of Wi-Fi throughout the campus
* Clean and green surroundings
* Decent hostel facilities, though some complain about poor food and limited space

Teaching Quality:
* Faculty members are experienced and knowledgeable in their fields
* Encouragement towards practical learning and research
* Good balance between theoretical and practical education

Placements and Internship:
* High placement rates, with several students getting offers from reputed companies
* Core-based jobs are relatively fewer, with most being IT-related
* Average salary packages range from INR4-INR5 Lacs per annum
* Fewer internships available compared to other universities

Criticisms and Suggestions:
* Some students report poor food options in the hostel and canteen
* Limited social events and festivals organized by the college
* Some faculty members may not be up-to-date with the latest developments in their fields

Overall, M.E./M.Tech at SASTRA University seems to be a good choice for those interested in pursuing a career in engineering. While there are some areas for improvement, the university's strong faculty, good infrastructure, and decent placement record make it a viable option.

Since you have not attended JEE you have to apply through stream 2 only. Stream 2 has just 30% of seats and there is heavy competition for those seats. You have got a decent percentage but you getting a course you prefer is not a guarantee. You have good chances to get admission though.
