Both ECE and EEE are highly demanded courses at Sastra University after CSE. Hence it depends on your interest to choose between the two. Sastra University has good infrastructure, faculty, training and placements for both of the branches.

Diploma students get admission in second year directly through lateral entry entrance exam. You need to appear in the entrance. Your score in Diploma is good as per the eligibility criteria.
