1) Student will have highest mark in State board exam.

Hi Bhuvanesh, yes you have good chances for getting admission at SASTRA University as you have good score in board exam. You have to apply through stream 1 as you have appeared for JEE Main exam but your score is a little low in JEE Mains.
You need not submit a separate application form for stream 2. if you don't get through stream 1 , then you will get an admission through stream 2.
You have good chances but I think you may or may not get your desired course.

Hi Bhuvanesh, the applications can be submitted on or before June 10 only so that you have the time to edit the form also. You will have the edit option just login to your account at www.sastra.edu and edit it.
You have to apply through stream 1 and there is no need to submit a separate form for stream 2.

Hi Geetha, as you have qualified JEE Mains you can apply to Sastra University through stream 1. The selection is done by taking 30% JEE scores and 70% board exam marks.
So you can get an admission only if your JEE scores as well as board exam scores are good.
In your JEE Mains you should have scored atleast 90-100 and your board exam scores should be atleast 90%.
Also ,you need not apply separately for stream 2.

You have lesser chances for getting admission at SASTRA University, Thanjavur.
Since your JEE score will be too low and your board scores is also low(not bad), your chances will go down as many students with high JEE score and board exam marks apply for SASTRA University.
You can apply for stream 1. Wait till June 10th as that is the last date and the ranks (merit list) will also be released.

Yes, SASTRA University is really good. It is also above SRM University in terms of rankings. The placements are also good but someone said that the hostel life was not nice. But I won't accept it as it will be good.
Many core companies are coming for recruitment and surely many of them are getting placed. The faculty are all well learned and experienced. so they can help you a lot in studies.

The applications are now open. The admissions are based on two streams:
Stream1: through JEE main scores and board exam marks. 70% of seats are filled by this way.
Stream2: only board exam marks.

Hello Gokul, yes you have medium chances to get a seat at SASTRA University. You need to apply through stream 1 as you have appeared for JEE exam.
91% is not a bad score but the course you select demands more marks. If you opt for courses like computer science, mechanical like that then you should score a little higher.
The last date is June 10. So after that you will know whether you can get a seat or not as they will release the ranks.
You may not get your desired course.
