SASTRA is not as good as LPU. It is a wonderful choice if you are interested in studying CSE at LPU. You will take several introductory courses in two to three programming languages during the first year. As the course progresses, you will learn a variety of programming languages. SAP will be incorporated into the curriculum in the third year. There are only a few universities that offer this subject. Students at LPU will get an advantage by learning SAP for the duration of their third year. Students can select from seven distinct minors (IOT, Big Data, Web Development, Machine Learning, Android App Development, Data Science, and Cyber Security) at the end of their second year. Any can be chosen by a student based on their area of interest. Students are offered the choice to participate in placement services or not at the conclusion of the fifth semester. Additional feedback on verbal ability, quantitative aptitude, reasoning aptitude, and programming input is given to students who choose placement services. Beginning in the sixth semester, students begin receiving offers for internships and jobs. If you meet the recruiter's requirements and are qualified, you might be hired during the sixth semester. In 2018, the first company to visit the campus offered a package of 13 LPA, demonstrating that the packages are also rather reasonable. Students are placed, and they receive a respectable compensation package for it.

With a 92.43 percentile in JEE Mains and 65% in the CBSE board exams, it is possible to get admission to a B.Tech programme at SASTRA University, especially considering you are from Tamil Nadu, as the university gives weightage to both JEE Mains scores and Class 12 marks, particularly for state quota candidates.SASTRA University typically considers:JEE Mains score: The university generally accepts JEE Main scores for admission, and the minimum percentile required can vary each year based on the competition.Class 12 Marks: The university often requires a minimum of around 60% or higher in Class 12 for B.Tech admissions.Category-based Cutoffs: If you're applying under the Tamil Nadu state quota, the cutoff for certain branches might be lower than the All India cutoff. You may be able to get into a popular branch like Computer Science or Electronics with your percentile, but competition can vary depending on the demand for specific branches. It would be beneficial to directly check SASTRA University's official website for the specific year's cutoff for JEE Mains and board exam marks.
